Hmmmm... seems like truly Ebola has relocated to the United States, well the good part is they can handle it.
News from Usatoday says Craig Spencer, who tested positive for Ebola Thursday, is a New York emergency physician who recently worked with Doctors Without Borders treating patients in Liberia, West Africa.
He is one of the staff at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, which in a statement called him "a dedicated humanitarian .. who went to an area of medical crisis to help a desperately underserved population.''
"He is a committed and responsible physician who always puts his patient first,'' the hospital said in a statement. "He has not been to work at our hospital and has not seen any patients at our hospital since his return from overseas. Our thoughts are with him, and we wish him all the best at this time. ''
